We held our second Hero Day last week with pupils and staff researching and dressing up as their personal heroes.
The children did work about their heroes during the day like this hero profile Axel from the Jays is working hard on.
In the foundation stage and key stage one we focussed on people who help us, as you can see from the large police force we had in the Eagles class!
The staff also made great efforts with their costumes!
The Ambassadors celebrated the 21st anniversary of the ratification of the Convention of the Rights of the Child by leading the assembly last Monday.
Have a look at the Rights Respecting page on Fronter to see the powerpoint presentation.
We've just added a new page to our website, please check out 'chicken corner' for information on how Tikka and Korma are doing and how we look after them.
Reading at Home
Reading and understanding are, as you know, hugely important parts of your child's learning and we encourage pupils to read with their parents regularly.
Mrs Kang has put together a page of ideas and tips for when you are reading at home with your child with questions and activities for during reading and after the book is finished.
Click the books to see our reading page!
Please remember that dinner money MUST be sent into school via your child on a MONDAY morning, in an envelope marked with your child's name, class and amount enclosed. Thank you.
We have just introduced a new online payment system through Parentmail for parents to pay for trips and school uniform. Please have a look at the letter on the right hand side of the page for information on how to activate your account

_______________________________________________________________The Giving Machine
we have recently found a new and free way of raising funds for the school.
How it Works:
- Shops agree to give a commission to The Giving Machine each time a purchase is made through the site
- The Giving Machine pass on 75% of that commission to the chosen receiver – in this case – St Fidelis School
What you can do to help raise funds:
- Log on to Thegivingmachine.co.uk and join as a Giver
- Once you have completed this process you will be asked who you wish to support and you can choose St. Fidelis School
Every time you shop on-line just remember to go through The Giving Machine and support your school by doing this one simple thing. Don’t forget to mention this to grandparents, friends or colleagues, anyone can help support your school there are no limits.
There is a link on the right of the page, thank you
